Shelley Duvall has gone on record for being quite upset with director Stanley Kubrick during the filming of The Shining, where he virtually tortured the poor actress in the hopes of getting a reaction on camera. Well, it certainly worked, and the results are nothing shy of perfection as we watch Wendy Torrance fight for survival in the old Overlook Hotel.
